Get ready for the official launch of WEEDMAN, a collaboration between Playboy and Slimesunday!
Weedman will be making its first IRL debut at ComplexCon this weekend at the Slimesunday booth.
THE DETAILS
Turns out working with 🌱 in resin was harder than we thought! It took us about 3 times to really get it down. Each time we started over, WEEDMAN got bigger and bigger.
The artwork is a re-imagination created by Slimesunday, of a Playboy Sunglasses ad from the June 1982 issue of Playboy featuring the effortlessly cool Renauld White. Fun fact: White is known as the first Black model to be featured on the cover of American GQ.
This 1/1 resin sculpture is Part II of the WEEDMAN drop on NG back in April. Playboy and Slimesunday donated $10K to the Last Prisoner Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cannabis criminal justice reform.
